Rating System Development Committee - This committee is charged with developing and maintaining the rating system.

Building Evaluation Committee - This committee is charged with using the rating system to evaluate the relative security of that are voluntarily submitted for a rating by building owners or managers.

Certification Program Development Committee - This committee is charged with developing and maintaining the BSCP certification program that designates licensed design professionals and ASIS-certified security professionals who have demonstrated, by means of a written examination, knowledge and understanding of the multidisciplinary security considerations that are relevant to the integrated planning, design, construction, operation, and evaluation of buildings, as identified by the Building Security Council's building rating system.
