Certification Renewal

Upon earning a BSCP an individual will be required to earn twelve (12) Professional Development Hours (PDHs) over a two year period in order to maintain their certification.  The PDHs can be earned from any of the seven domains covered on the exam (building security knowledge: project process, risk assessment, site considerations, building envelope, interior space, facility operations, and the BSC rating system).  However, a BSCP cannot earn more than 50% of their PDHs from a single domain.  This ensures that a BSCP is maintaining a multi-disciplinary approach to their continued education.
